We would like to invite you to our monthly events night here at Plantation. We have a rich and varied series of upcoming events which we hope you will enjoy. Take your pick, and see which ones suit you!
Programme for 2010
The Events nights have been a great success, being sold out nearly every night. After much planning, here is our intended event schedule for next year. Please bear in mind that we intend to repeat our particularly successful evenings, such as the food and wine evening, as well as having our main events. We will be announcing more events closer to the time- we don't want to spoil the surprise!

August
"Buzzing around" - 26th August Bees and butterflies both have declined in recent years- how can we help them keep up their numbers, and also fill our garden with these attractive insects? Starts at 7pm, cost £7.50. A cup of tea or Americano coffee and our delicious home-made canapés are included.
September
"Bulb Night" - 30th September Every year, those little brown knobbly lumps perform a minor miracle and turn into beautiful flowers in Spring. Choose the best and learn about the rest! Starts at 7pm, cost £7.50. A cup of tea or Americano coffee and our delicious home-made canapés are included.
October
"Feeling Fruity" - 28th October The 'top fruits'- the various fruit trees, can be a baffling group. Let us sort out the tangle of varieties, pollination, rootstocks, and pruning for you. It's simple once you know how. Starts at 7pm, cost £7.50. A cup of tea or Americano coffee and our delicious home-made canapés are included.
November
"Food and Wine for Christmas" We had a food and wine evening in 2009, and it was a roaring success, so why not have one again? Come and join us for wine and food tasting- an elegant (and tasty) start to the Christmas season. Starts at 7pm, cost £15.00.
Your events at Plantation
If you are a member of a group, club or society, you may be interested in our exclusive events evenings. You can have our lovely Colonial Cafe to yourselves and we can arrange talks or demonstrations followed by our delicious homemade food and drinks. Some of the local WI groups have already visited us in this way, and been entertained by guest speakers from the Cheshire Wildlife Trust, or by our own knowledgeable staff who have given talks about garden design and plants for places, followed by buffets, tea and cake and discounted shopping.
